Dr Farr registered to practice medicine in Nacogdoches Co in 1874. He left Hopkins Co in 1871 for San Augustine Co before moving to Nacodoches. His second wife was George Ann Lakey. A marker has been placed in Macedonia Cemetary for Martha Newsome's grave. Dr Farr and George Ann are buried at Wooten Cemetary in Nacogdoches Co.. Markers will soon be placed at their grave sites. A descendant of the first family has a picture of Dr Farr and Martha Jane. There are many descendants in San Augustine and Nacodoches County.
