    3. Hello Donald, Thank you for the information. I have a lot of bits & pieces that I picked up at the Library in Springfield, including a whole column of Farr births between 1772 & 1803. I also found a page of information left by a Herbert Farr some years ago. I have been in touch with Herbert's nephew, since Herbert has passed on, but he doesn't know anything about James either. Unfortunately, although all signs point to my James Farr b. before 1761 as the son of Joseph Farr of Acton, there is no one fact that makes it definate. If you have access to a FAX machine I would be happy to Fax the info I got at the library to you......or an address that I can mail copies to you.
