Howe, born 1859, Townshend, VT to a Harriet Howe. No father is listed on any documents I've located so far (Birth & marriage certs). Family stories indicate Emma's father may have been an Indian. Am suspect that Harriet was unmarried at the time of Emma's birth. Emma later married Luman Farr, then David Brockway. She died around 1936. Any info on her parents would be helpful as I've hit a brick wall.
