Excellent, I have a response in relation to the FARR family from Witley, Surrey. My new contact, ROSLYN ANN BENNETTS also has a family tree which goes back five generations to GEORGE FARR (b.1794) and HANNAH ATTFIELD (b. 1795). If any other blood relatives should be reading this I would be pleased to hear from you also.

Yes, Jonathan did work for the Roswell Mill. We believe he is the son of James B. Farr. Any information would be most appreciated
I believe you are looking for the same family that I am trying to locate information on. My great-great grandfather Jesse Farr had a brother who was born in Jackson County and lived in Roswell, Ga. Did Jonathan work at the Roswell Mills?

I am currently seeking information on the FARR family which my records show as having generated from Witley in Surrey. I have also been seeking the NAISH family who emigrated to Australia in the early 1900's and were related I believe through a CORNISH/FARR marriage. Maybe there could be a connection between Naish/Nash. If you believe there may be a connection please contact me.
Dear Listers I am in process of compiling a listing of all FARR researchers in the UK. The 3 people below have informed me that they have interests in the London, Middlesex, Surrey areas - you might like to contact them if you aren't in touch already. Please let me know how you get on (off list). I'll be writing again to the List about all of this soon. /\___/\ | o o | >(( v ))< \ _^_ / Pete Brown Groby, Leicestershire, UK ****************************************************** In a message dated 25/07/01 06:38:13 GMT Daylight Time, beegee1@iprimus.com.au writes: > Subj:FARR > Date:25/07/01 06:38:13 GMT Daylight Time > From: beegee1@iprimus.com.au > Sender: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com > To: FARR-L@rootsweb.com > > Julie. - My mothers family were Farrs and all came, for a number of > generations, from the Witley, Surrey, England area. > If any of your records show any connection to the Surrey area I would be > extremely pleased to hear from you as they were quite a large family. > FARR, Bernard Oxford, UK BERNARDFARR@ONETEL.NET.UK LND SE England All NEWMAN, Mary Wolverhampton, UK Ivygenealogy@aol.com LND MDX SRY Croydon, Southwark, Stamford Hill, Hackney, Bow, Stoke Newington 1800+ WHITE, Colin Stirling, Scotland colin@colinjwhite.co.uk DEV MDX KEN USA Kingsbridge, Chelsea/Hendon, Aylesford pre1795, and post 1901
