Hello Maxine and other Bible Hunters, I used to do research at the Archives and many times in a soldier's military pension file the actual Bible pages torn from one will be found. Since there were no copy machines back then the actual pages were sent in to prove a claim. You might try to find a local DC researcher to look at the file. The Archives people just select a few pages to copy, but there could be several hundred pages of material to go through. It's amazing what you can find. Good luck.
