I decided to clean and unpack this room to a decent semblance of humanity and found the Bible I was looking for. It is falling apart. It was printed in 1893, has deteriorating leather covers. The fronispiece/nameplate states "Clayton C. Kohl, Perrysburg, Ohio A.D. 1895 Christmas Gift from my Father." There is no writing on the family history pages. However, there are clippings, a typed copy of a Tennyson poem (with a note on the back the same as the frontispiece) and a note stating "Ecclesiastes 12-13 text for Uncle Conrad's funeral Jan. 8, 1925". The correspondence packet is rather large; letters to John Kohl in Perrysburg, Miss Matilda Kohl (same), a 1937 high school graduation announcement for Earl Dale Kopp in Perrysburg, Miss Meltha Kohl (same), a wedding invite of Altha Evelyn Winzeler to Paul Collins Richardson, 28 Jul 1928 in Maumee, Ohio, etc. I also have a photo floating about that belongs to this collection. As I said, these were found in the attic of 109 East Evers, Bowling Green, Ohio in a trunk in 1968/9. If anyone has a claim to them, PLEASE let me know and I will priority mail them to you!
