A lot of Bible records can be found at State Archives and Libraries. Here in Virginia I buy old bibles with family histories, trancribe them, then search out on the net to find out what County they were found in and send the transcription to the US Genweb to put in their archives, I then send the original Bible to the State Library for safe keeping as most of them are very old and brittle.
