    1. Framed Wedding Certificate-David and Jane BOYD, 1862
    2. I know this is a site for bible records but I have a framed wedding certificate of: David BOYD who married Jane (no maiden name given) in Geneseo, NY 11 Nov 1862. Married by D.W. Ward and witnessed by Jane Ward. The certificate is in an old wooden frame, with glass. The certificate is in good condition with a little yellowing and water staining. This is not my BOyd line and I'll let this certificate go to a descendant (must prove relationship) for cost plus shipping ($17.00). Richard G. Boyd Clan Boyd/House of Boyd 12137 Highland Avenue Mt. 1. Sample Family bible
    2. Hello, I am searching for my 4th gr gr parents, Steele & Caroline Michaels Sample bible. In l912 it was in the possession of a granddaughter of theirs, Della K. Sample Williams of Elkton, MD. According to Civil War documents she had to present the bible to a notary to veryify the birthdate of an uncle, Morrison Abraham Sample/Abraham Morrison Sample in Pittsburgh, PA. In l925 or so, in an obituary of her parents, she is listed in it as being from Elkton, MD. Any help would be gratefuly appreciated. I am also searching for my 5th gr gr parents bible, David & Susannah DeCamp Sample of Westmoreland/Mercer Co. PA. References in some records refer to the family bible, but no hint as to who inherited it. Pat-Norfolk, VA

    1. Re: ROWE-McDaniel Bible ?
    2. This is a shot in the dark--needle in a haystack----there was Mary Polly Rowe, born ca 1801 ,daughter of James Rowe and Anna Howard of NC, who went to Twiggs co.,Ga.,taking the family records with her. She married a Mr.McDaniel. The other James Rowe decendants would LOVE to know what happened to that record. Does it still exist, or are there perhaps McDaniels somewhere that can trace their roots back to Onslow co.,NC ? If you know of a McDaniel who married a Rowe, please let me know. Thanks.
