I have FO 10. I like to keep my database on a laptop I use while traveling. However, I tried backing up & restoring data--this did not work. Then I tried to export and import a Gedcom from my desktop to the laptop. This didn't work either. Both were done with data on a floppy disk, In both cases, I got error messages and instructed to send them to Microsoft, which I did. I have Windows 98 on my desktop & XP on the laptop.
