I have generated a genealogy book through FO but I copied and pasted into Word because I wanted to add photos, create indexes and some special indexes. When I first built a concordance file ( a word document with table) and matched that against the book, many names were omitted for one reason or another, primarily because Word saw the name with the superscript in it as being different from that name without it. Anyway,, I have been editing the book and building a special concordance file for those names which were not marked for the index. Many names in the uplines were marked for index which need not be, so I was deleting those marks. However, when I perform the mark index function again (with just my new entries) some of those people whom I deleted the markings show back up again as marked. I realize that this really does not have a lot do do with FO, but I felt that some of you may have run into this before. Jim Elting (704) 544-7559 [email protected]

Did you resave the document after you had deleted all the markings? Close down the document or even the whole program and reopen the resaved document? Doing all that should eliminate all the deleted marks. Wayne League
