Where does the multimedia link in FO think the photo is located? Did you change the link to the folder where you moved the photo to on the hard drive? If FO is reading the photo file from the CD then it is not even looking at the photo you placed on the hard drive but is trying instead to save the edited file back to the CD. It can't do that even with a CDRW drive unless the CD was originally recorded in a certain special way and definitely not if the photo on the CD is read only. Wayne League
