I can delete a FACT but not the individual. I also have tried to highlight the individual I want to delete and then hit the delete key and then OK but F.O. tells me that I have to enter a name before I can save a record, therefore I have to hit cancel and I am right back where I started. This is version 7.0, maybe it is different? Lois < NO NO NO - choose <edit> then select <delete> then select either <individual> or <family> as what you want to delete You are not paying good attention to what is before your eyes. I suspect too impatient, rather than eyesight <sigh> Look at ALL the various <edit> choices before selecting anything. FO has worked largely the same way since at least ver 4.
