    3. Cyndi, No Parsons does not supply web space. In fact, I think the server is no more. Family Origins default for user web sites it the same Genealogy.com as FTM. There is no mention of the amount of space a user can have. But he is limited to one home page with five different web sites. Web sites seems like an odd name to me, they would be better called chapters or something, because they are all connected to the home page that I would call the Web Site. But then, what do I know? Is there actually a RootsMate users list yet? And on the subject of the posting, above, I recall when I first set up my web site (before FTM was G.c), Paul Burchfield said that the space available was unlimited (for all practical purposes). I've never heard anyone say they ran out of space. :-) Also, I do believe that you are entitled to one web page for each product that you own. AT one time I actually owned two copies of FTM (bought the second one just to get an updated copy of the SSDI CDs, on sale for about 5 bucks at a local store), so I set up two separate Web pages. I now actually own 3 of their products (since I started using FO), but I've never tried to set up a third web page..... but I believe it would be easily done. -- Charlie Hoffpauir http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~charlieh/

This is my view: --The Internet is a library. --Web sites are books in that library. --Web pages are the chapters and pages within the web site. --A home page is the front page to a web site (the cover and table of contents for the book). Thanks for your help, Cyndi

I have version 9. http://www.formalsoft.com/features.htm is the site to which I went. Is the situation different each side of the Pond? Phil. Phil
