It is necessary to restore the backup file to Outlook in order to read its contents. The procedure for backup and restore can be found at: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q270670 It is also possible to save the contents of an e-mail by right clicking on the body of the e-mail, use "Select All" and then copy and paste it into a file. This method will *not* keep the headers. FL Rose ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra E. T.
