I wish that too. The only thing I could think of to help was to make a duplicate copy (Restore the backup to another folder) and uncheck the events I don't want. That way, they stay unchecked. I renamed the database and if I do anything extensive to my usual database, I drag and drop into it. Our direct lines change less than we think. I have a print out from PAF of my direct line pedigree charts printed on a dot matrix printer that is surprisingly the same as today. I don't always go to the trouble of entering those custom events for people who are not on a direct line family Group Sheet. Another thing might be Wayne's suggestion to make a database template. Make a duplicate database set up the way you want it. Delete all the people. Then use it to import people into whenever you have a special need. Betty ----- Original Message ----- From: "B.
