Is there a way to include a scanned document (jpg image full page) in FO v10 so that it either prints in book format or journal format or some other means? I know I can generate an RTF and add the image using Word or Word Perfect. Is there something within FO? Herb Clark
Multiple scrapbooks can be included in FO 10 Journals with multiple reports. Take care to use each scrapbook for sources of similar shape if you want more than one image per page. My current FO 10 project has a mix of very wide and very tall source documents because the registration forms changed in Ontario around 1900. Decided to add the tall ones for the descendant and the wide ones to the spouse scrapbook or whatever combination fits best for each household. View the Journal frequently as the pictures are added to make sure you like the result. Didn't find a way to move pictures with captions from one scrapbook to another. Wasn't able to add family scrapbooks to a Journal, just one picture prints on a group sheet. Planning to use one indented descendant report for each of the children in the main file with an ancestor chart for the oldest or most important child as a kind of divider and the scrapbook(s) of sources following each report. One other decision was to remove facts and memos from the file used for the Journal so that basic events and notes read well enough in book form without editing. More research to be done and I don't want to take time editing sentences in each version of a word processor book.
