When I said to delete all FO files from the two versions on your desktop computer, I did not mean your only copy of the data files, rather the program files. In fact, It might be wise to make a new directory for your data, and place it there for safe keeping. Hopefully you have more than one backup, gedcom, etc. in case some of the data files have become corrupted. It's hard to tell from the description, what the actual situation is, but I suppose you could have problems with that backup file. In fact, I think I would begin restoring an older backup to version 10 first, since you seem to have so many problems with your most recent one. Once things are working, you can then try your latest backup. If your data is good, everything should work out ok in the long run. Margaret Scheffler
