    3. Sandra, I use a very good shareware database called TreePad available for free download at www.treepad.com to manage information I want to keep rather than keeping e-mails. I just highlight the information that is important, copy it and insert it under the proper heading in TreePad. For instance, we've had a lively discussion on backup techniques on another board. One of the suggestions looked like it be perfect for some of my work. Applying it to FO, I copied the e-mail information, went to TreePad, clicked on "Family Origins", then "Backup Strategies", went to the bottom of that page and pasted the information in. Now I have one page to look at for backup ideas or I can sub-divide these into finer segments later if necessary. I usually include the sender's e-mail address and name in case I need to follow up. The benefit for me is I might gleen 3 good ideas out of 200 e-mails. So, how would I find these ideas a year later in a long list of e-mails? Jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra E. T.
