    3. MSWorks at least in the OEM versions from Gateway come with the Word version that is current at the time it is packaged. I had an old off the shelf version of MSWorks 3.0 that had its own word processor that appeared to be a very limited version of Word.     3. MS Works, currently version 6, is a separate, less expensive word processor, data base & spread sheet. These all work seperately or together. But are not as advanced as programs such as Word, Excell, etc. To the best of my knowledge id\s doesn't have an index capability. Rod
