    3. It looks like that person is using something called "Choicemail." You can read about it at: http://www.digiportal.com/product4.html Here's part of its description: "ChoiceMail is a spam- blocking system based on the premise that all incoming email is assumed to be spam until senders have obtained permission (called registering) to send you email. Until they do so, mail from unapproved senders will not appear in your email application." So, someone chooses to sign up for a list like this. They then buy that Choicemail software which then treats messages from the list that they chose to sign up for as spam unless the list "registers" with the person/Choicemail. Sheesh! The only message I have sent with this subject list was to the list only and I don't have anyone with a Road Runner address in my book. Just might treat it as spam since it has a commercial message and report to [email protected] Alfred, do we have a list member [email protected]? 3. It's actually worse than that! Every member of the list has to register before all the list mail will get through... If it were my list, I'd unsub the person and send private mail to let them know they need to remove that before they get back on the list... Might take some detective work though... Just another soggy Seattle Sysop. -----Original Message----- From: Paul Burchfield [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, July 12, 2002 3:04 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FO] Strange message It looks like that person is using something called "Choicemail."
