You would say that adoptions do not deserve a place in genealogy files, either, if the biological parents are not known. Certainly you would agree that the descendants of every living person can belong in genealogy files, and every person's ancestry stops (starts?) somewhere with unknowns. I am sure your ancestry ends with many unknowns, as does everyone else's ancestry. Bill Case
