I was checking out one of the links sent to our list by one of our users today. In it I found a review of Version 9 of FO. In the review they had a screen shot that was helpful to me. I think it had quite a few things that might be helpful to new users. I have been doing a lot of merging lately. Side by side views in family view. Sometimes, it is difficult to tell which John to merge with another John. The website showed an example of the PEDIGREE view side by side while merging. I had not thought of that. In instances where there is doubt, it makes identification clearer. Also, by showing the pedigree, it can be helpful in deciding whether to merge ancestors - or how many generations. Betty
