    3. Which genealogy software does the author/programmer actually provide "hands-on" tech support??? (Betcha can only name one: FAMILY-ORIGINS!!) I had a problem installing my software several versions back. Of course it was a Saturday evening and I actually didnt expect to be able to solve the problem till Monday, during business hours. Within TWO hours of e-mailing a note, Bruce himself, sent me the answer (I needed to download a file from Microsoft) I followed his suggestion and within 5 minutes had the program up and running!!! If I had a faster modem it wouldnt have taken so long!!! <G> Knowing that Bruce listens to our requests and ACTUALLY incorporates many of them in the annual updates, makes me even more enthusiastic about using and recommending the FAMILY ORIGIONS program rather than those "OTHER" program(s) whose attitude is: "...our program it good enough...like it or lump it...and dont bother us till business hours Monday-Friday!" I must admit, making a new "FO Wish List" just after the new version is released has always made me feel a bit guilty...It has struck me as a bit like kids making next year's Christmas list ...on Christmas nite...because they "only" got a Ford not a Ferrarri under the tree ...or someone complaining that there was no caviar at the Christmas party...Just be thankful you have a car and got an invitation!!! <G> HOWEVER, Dick Wells note giving inforrmation on the timeline that Bruce is working under for software development and also Earnies assurances that "now is the time to give Bruce all our new ideas" has cleared up that point, and I will no longer feel guilty!!! THANKS A MILLION, BRUCE!!!
