I have not seen the Place Finder in action, as I have always purchased the basic version of FO. What information will the Place Finder give you, and how does it work? I have a software program called "AniMap" and it will map a location (latitude/longitude) and show which state/county it was in (depending on which year you choose) since the formation of the United States. Will the Place Finder do this? Will Place Finder print maps? I would prefer using only one program if Place Finder will do these tasks for me. Can one of you devoted Place Finder fans enlighten me? You can hit search and a dialog box comes up. You can input the town & state. If it does not come up you can just input the state, then search the alpha listing for a similar name. I find 95% of what I am looking for.
