So far, the best source I have found are contained in two web sites. http://www.multimap.com/ and http://www.old-maps.co.uk/ Unfortunately, nothing has been found similar to the Place Finder and the GIS database (from the USGS)it uses. Maybe we can get a Place Finder page on the FOW site where similar web pages can be found for various countries. Personally, I could use one for France and Germany too. Others I know are looking for Canada. If you know of other "Place Finders", please post a message for all of us.
