Mary Jean, The "Deluxe" version of software usually denotes something extra, over and above the software itself, and frequently is additional software somewhat related. Such was the case with FO6 (I think) when I got FO "Deluxe" including Place Finder. I cannot tell you what was additional with versions 7, 8, or 9, since I got all three as simple upgrade versions. If you got FO9 Deluxe, you may or may not have received Place Finder with it, but apparently Place Finder is what makes version 10 "Deluxe," so you may be looking for something that is not there. Is there anything else on your CD other than Family Origins 9 itself? If so, that is likely what makes it "Deluxe." Maybe someone else on the list can be more specific, but I cannot tell how it applies to FO9 Deluxe, since I don't have it. I've always purchased the standard upgrades, is it possible to now upgrade to the Deluxe version without having previously purchased it? Per Bruce's web page (and recent discussions on this list), you can get FO10 Upgrade version (normally $19.95) Deluxe (normally an additional $10) for $29.95, and you can install both whether or not you have a previous version of Place Finder. That would not matter anyway, since there has never been more than one version of it, and the current one is the same as the first one.
