Based upon some of the responses, most of you are missing the point in dealing with this potential problem. Dealing with a potential virus is very similar to driving a car. You have multiple choices on how to protect yourself. Consider the following analogy: Your approaching your destination. Now to stop you can: 1. Drive in normally and use the brakes. This is possible because you learned how to operated the car and understand what you are doing. You still have all the other protection devices just in case. 2. Turn off the ignition and coast to a stop. You will be somewhere in the neighborhood of your destination, maybe. This is like using old anti virus software. You will be OK most of the time, but there is a chance of problems. 3. Drive into a fixed object and let that stop the car, using the air bag to protect you. This is like trusting something like software to protect you. You accept anything and trust an external force to keep you safe. 4. Same as above, but you did not replace the air bag after your last outing. This is just like not trying to protect yourself at all or not paying attention. There is another choice, you can just jump out of the car as it passes the destination. That is about the same as giving up on your computer and giving it away. Your best defense is between your ears. Use it and understand what you are doing. So far, nothing has come close to Brain Power and Education. Rely on yourself and keep the other tools as backup's. Dick
