I am using FO v 7 and I think I need to purchase soon the new program that is being discussed...but in the meantime, can someone tell me how to import a gedcom...I d/l it to a floppy from e-mail...I went to "file" "import gedcom"....it "opened" showing that it had 400+ names in it; but it only wants to save to the a drive; I cannot get it into My Doc. I have done this before...a long time ago...and I guess I need step by step directions...is someone patient enough to help? E-mail me direct, if you wish.... Will the manual for RM explain such for pc dummies like me? thanks.. Carol in freezing South Florida....
