When you select you can select by various groupings and also deselect by various groupings. This is harder to explain in print than trying it out. In the past, one had an option. << A local guru (your high school will know somebody) should be able to copy the CD files to a temporary directory spot on the laptop hard drive using a cable between the desktop and the laptop and then install from the temporary location.. As long as you are going through the hassel, why not install v 10.0 or try out the new RootsMagic at the introductory bargain price. $19.95 plus an optional $10 book either way.
