You can change the name of the backup zipfile if you like but the name of the database is contained in the files inside the backup zipfile and you can't change them. What you CAN do is to restore the database (with the same name) to a different folder so that it does not overwrite your original database. PKZip for windows is just as up-to-date as WinZip. And it has this handy zipfile test function added to the windows right-click sub menu dialog that WinZip does not have. Wayne League
