You can change the name of the backup zipfile if you like but the name of the database is contained in the files inside the backup zipfile and you can't change them. What you CAN do is to restore the database (with the same name) to a different folder so that it does not overwrite your original database. (If you wish to keep the second copy of the database you could have FO rename it for you to avoid confusion.) ============== >I don't believe I've used PKZip since the days of DOS. :-) ========== PK, as in PKzip, you know, are the initials of the guy who originally invented zipfiles. PKZip for windows is just as up-to-date as WinZip. And it has this handy zipfile test function added to the windows right-click sub menu dialog that WinZip does not have. Wayne League
