Thanks to all that answered my query re, disk not full. Yes I was trying to create a GED and now I know what to do to correct it. It looks like I will have to invest in Rootsmagic sooner than I had planned, but that won't be too bad. Thanks again to all. Murray Saskatchewan Canada.
