Can someone tell me how to tell someone else (she uses FO) how to EXPORT a GEDCOM to me. I'll be asking later how to import. Thank you in advance.

If you would look in the help menu, under GEDCOM, you would find a rather good explanation of how to do this. There is a lot of good information in the help files.
