I have seen some programs that do this. Paul mentioned RootsMagic, but since nobody has really seen it, I will answer the questions for it. When publishing to a web page, you have several privacy options. You can have the persons name displayed, or just the word "Living". For facts (events), you can have them printed in full, or not at all, or just date, or just place, or just year.
