Rootsweb does not merge lists. It has been asked for by many list administrators over the years and is always denied. In my opinion, let the FO list stay the way it is. There will always be users of FO. I know several people who at this point in time do not plan to change to RM. They are very happy with FO. This list is then a place for these people to get help. We just need to get to a point that FO questions are posted to only this list and RM questions are posted to only that list. Once we have RM in hand, I am sure we will all be full of questions and the RM list will then get to the business of RM :) Personally, I plan on staying on both lists. I often help out the above mentioned friends with FO, so it will be worth my while to stay. Rene'
