    1. [FO] Wish Item - Prepositions / Dates in books + enhancements
    2. Jeff
    3. Hi All Since I don't have much faith in my computerised data surviving me into future generations, my eventual aim is to produce a comprehensive book from that data. Therefore this is one feature I would like to see developed and enhanced. Below are some of my ideas. 1. I would like to see the "enable date and place" box split to allow separate selection of date and place fields. 2. In addition to being able to deselect the date from books, I would like the option to print the YEAR only. I enter full dates for every fact but this makes for very monotonous and repetitive reading in books. If this was incorporated then the "ON" 10 May 1959 would need to become "IN THE YEAR" when selected. 3. I would like to see the preposition "his/her" etc. box contain the option for "given name" This would make much more personal reading on some facts rather that HE SHE, especially on the death fact, e.g. "John died on 10 May 1959" 4. The ability to add photo's to places was a step forward, but I would like to be able to add notes to places also. This could be used to describe the exact location, give a brief history of a homestead or place, etc etc. When a place which contains a photo or description then appears in a book some sort of symbol should appear alongside pointing to the appendix. The appendix of the book can then show a photograph and give a description of those places appearing in the book which have attachments. The user should be able to select the layout of this appendix from a number of pre-defined templates. Happy hunting, and FO is still the best for me. Jeff
