Dear Paul: I attended one of these DNA meetingns last Saturday evening. The lady from Brigham Young University explained it. I must admit it was considerably over my head. We each in attendance gave blood. The chapel and cultural hall were filled with people who readily gave their blood . We each gave a pedigree chart of four generations. I believe it is a worthwhile effort and it will be interesting to see what information they come up with it. The speaker said it is a four-year project. It does not work with adopted people. Of course, if the adopted person knows his or her ancestry and can give a four generation pedigree chart of their birth ancestors, he or she could participate. Virginia Kimes Pierce VPierce851@aol.com
