My big laugh is that although John must not have known how to "unsubscribe" correctly (see http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Software/FAMILY-ORIGINS-USERS.html for the answer)...his email to the list, in fact, contained the tagline that "explained". Me thinks the list server needs some sort of artificial intelligence or predictive capabilities about which taglines to attach.
