    3. Stafford, I suspect Alfred is asking you to verify your version of FO in order to determine whether you have applied the latest patch. With versions 7, 8, and 9 there are patches to apply. Your symptoms look suspiciously like some problems that surfaced in FO9 shortly after it was released. If you have applied the patch then your version should show as 9.0.2. If not, then go to www.formalsoft.com and download the patch. If you're on version 7 or 8, then apply their respective patches. Or, you may just have a memory issue with Windows. Try not to have too many programs running all at once. Reboot your PC occasionally to recapture lost memory after you've been opening and closing a lot of programs or doing a lot of data entry/modification for several hours.
