I am having trouble entering one of my databases, and I sure could use some help, please. I am running 7.1 They are as follows: (three of them) I get these messages; No. 1 Codebase Errors Error#: -60 Error# 90615 Open File file4open C:\MyDocuments\FamilyOriginsDatabases\Williamm.CDX (OK) No. 2 Codebase Error Error#: -935 Error#: 94001 Null Input Parameter Unexpected d4field (OK) No. 3 Program Error Exiting Application (CLOSE) Is there anyway to save this database? It is one that I have made myself, no part of it is imported. I will appreciate any and all the help I can get. Thanks to all for a find program. Mary Braden

I worked with Mary on this problem for a bit but other problems with her system forced us to work on other areas. For clarification, this is only one error. The three errors Mary lists occur sequentially until FOW closes automatically. If you re-open FOW and attempt to open the same database often enough, eventually it will open. We backed up all databases and other files and then completely rebuilt her system from the ground up using Gateway's disks. We installed FOW and restored all databases from backups. The problem persisted; three databases are fine but the fourth gives the error and shuts down FOW. Mary: Repeatedly attempt to open the bad database until you get it to open. Click 'File' 'Pack [compress] database'. A window will open asking if you want to do a backup first. Just say no <G>. Then, do a backup of that database to a different place c:\test or c:\1 would be fine. Then close the database and try reopening it several times to see if the Pack has solved the problem.
