Hi Laura, From everything I've heard, stay away from ME...it's very particular and slower than 98 or 2000. I would probably go with 2000, because I've heard lots of happiness from people who have it - I have 98se and would rather not:o) I'm just not sure it's compatible with FO, but you could check the website for system requirements...or the manual, I suppose - can you tell I do lots of reading from the source materials? Hi All, I use 98 with FO 9.02. No problems except the 'phantom' or missing icons that disappear when memory is overloaded. (Not very often, usually when I too many apps open at the same time.) I plan to get the new Windows this fall when it comes out since I have skipped ME, 2000, NT and the rest. Laura, If you have been using Win 98 then a new computer with Win ME pre installed would be for you. Issues with Win ME are found in the upgrades not with factory-installed software. Even at that not everyone experiences problems with the upgrade version of Win ME.
