This may be off topic, but this is my dilemma. Someone who is not at all computer literate sent an FTW file to me, someone who is only mildly computer literate. The problem is that it was sent with FTW version 8. I do own a version 7.5 which I DO NOT use as I am a Family Origins program user. Is there any way I can get this converted so that I might view it either in my FO program or my FTW program? I would write back and ask her to GEDCOM the file, but I had already tried to walk her through that and that didn't work. Anyone have any ideas how I can read this file? Carol
