    3. Import the GEDCOM into a temporary database, but if you have already imported it, the same thing applies. Open your database, go to the Lists menu and select "Fact Types." Find the LDS facts that you do not want and edit them so that their information does not get sent to a GEDCOM file. Do that for each of the LDS facts that you want to eliminate. Then export a GEDCOM of that database and import it into a new, empty database and see if it is what you want. You could just use the original database, but uncheck the reports that you do not want the LDS information to go to. Alfred D. Two other entries (Chr and Burial) still appear in the records. I am hesitant to delete these from the "Fact Type" list as they may serve a non-LDS use. I would appreciate your comments. And, thanks, so far. -=Carl=-

    3. CHR, Christening and Burial are not exclusively LDS facts, a lot of religions have Christenings, and nearly every one buries the dead in some manner. I do not know about Christening (Adult) You can go to the Reports menu, select "Lists" then "Fact usage" and select any fact and get a report on which individual use that fact. My database has no adult Christenings in it. I wouldn't be in a big hurry to delete the original database, Just in case there might be something in there that you later decide that you want. Make a backup of it and store it away for safekeeping. Alfred D. It seems as though I will be spending time looking at several of the items under "Fact Usage" to better know my databases. Thanks for your help ... and I have kept a backup of the original database. -=Carl=-
