Someone mentioned that you needed to add both a mother and father to link the children to a family. However, a father will do just fine to keep them together, and you can later add the mother when you find who it is. For an unknown father for siblings James Hawkins, I would click on add parents and add just the surname Hawkins without a given name. If you want something in the given name spot, you could put something like __?__ which may look better in a print out than just plan HAWKINS and print out something similar to "he was the son of __?__ HAWKINS.
