Could someone on the list please direct me to resources concerning scanner and memory problems? This message is from a relative who is working with me to preserve a 100 year old photograph album. She was advised to make a 2400 dpi scan of each picture and save to CD. Her graphics program required her to save to hard drive before transferring to removable medium. After a couple days she is experiencing lockups. Her hard drive seems to be full, but she is unable to delete as described below, and she is also locking up on most internet site loads, leading her to believe that she has memory problems as well. She has run scandisk and also defragged. I am trying to help her.
