I have a lot of UNVERIFIED information that is useful for further research but not necessessarily true and accurate until proven or disproven. I make a <NEWFACT> enclosing the appropriate title for the fact it in the <brackets>. I set it to print ONLY on individual summery // note & source report rather than a book/web reports. I enable the description and use that to summerize the topic of the fact and use a date if its appropriate. I made a fact called <ROOTSWEB> which contains unverified information from the surname/location lists that I subscribe to. As I find useful information I "cut and paste" the whole note from the list to my database. This way I always know at a glance which is <unverified information>, but the information is "hidden in plain site" so I dont forget about it! (example) the screen shows <ROOTSWEB> 1850 Will names all children & spouses the NOTES would contain the rootsweb note containing information about the will the SOURCE would contain the name and contact information of the person or place to get more information <CONFLICT> alerts me to <CONFLICTING INFO> <CROSS> alerts me to <POSSIBLE CROSSED LINES > spots where family lines may have inadvertantly gotten mixed up due to similar names /dates Just a few ideas....hope they help!
