It now doesn't work. Clicking on Home Page from within FO doesn't work either. I created new web page: http://www.familyorigins.com/users/h/u/n/Ronald-J-Hunter/ How do I access old web page? Ron
Going to Internet, then clicking on my home page only takes you browsing to your home page, it wont let you edit it in any way. To get there so you can edit your home page, you have to go to the internet menu item, select go online and follow the links: create or edit your Web site in the top paragraph, then in the right column of the resulting page are three choices, Create. Edit or delete your home page. If you delete it, everything comes down, all your uploaded data pages and all. About the only thing you can edit is the text that appears on the home page, your name and your e-mail address. And of course cerate makes a new home page. I have never found a use for the username and password that Genealogy.com sends out, I wonder if they do some good for the FTM people? Now that you have created a new home page, I dont think you will ever gain access to your old web page again, that new home page made a new file in the windows folder (fowinonl.ini) that seems to hold its own access code to your web page. This new file overwrote the old one so there isnt much chance any more. You can probably send an email to Genealogy.com support and ask that they delete it for you, but I think that is about the best you can do now. Good Luck, Alfred P.S. It was probably the link to the FTM generated site that blew it up in the first place <};-) ============== ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ronald Hunter" <ronaldjhunter@netzero.net> > I can NOT access my home page: > http://www.familyorigins.com/users/h/u/n/Ronald-J-Hunter-OH/index.html > > I used the user names and password that was set to me when I created web > page.
