Hi all: We have 9.2 FO. I have exported a gedcom to floppy (data had been edited to remove my line leaving only my husband's) and then I imported it to a new database for a little additional editing. When this is exported to a floppy again as a gedcom will I have lost parts of notes and sources or will they stay as they were in the original database? Hope this question makes sense and thank you for your comments. Sally Thoreson
That is sort of up to you. You can choose to export or not export notes and/or sources when you export the GEDCOM. If you choose to export them, they should import into the newly created Family Origins database just fine. BUT, and there is always a but, if you have family notes or sources, and you unlink the family, those notes and sources seem to get lost forever.
