    3. Alfred, Try "writable"<G>. I use a Sony ROM burner. It has two different programs also. One called "abCD" mounts the CD-RW like a hard drive. This method allows files to written to it like you would a hard drive. Sometimes this method doesn't allow the CD-RW to be read by any other drive except the one that created the CDROM. The other method is called "CD Extreme" which allows single session burning of the CDROM. This method usually can be read by other CDROM drives with no problems. When using abCD it is necessary to format the CD-RW before using it. I believe that this may be the reason that it is difficult to read these CDs in another drive.
