One way to do this would be to make a gedcom file of the people you want in the book and then use a program like "gedliving"or "gedclean" to remove the living birth dates from the gedcom file. Then you could import the modified file to a new database in FO and create the book from there. Gedliving can be found at http://www.rootsweb.com/~gumby/ged.html Gedclean can be found at http://www.raynorshyn.com/gedclean/ Wayne League
Ooooooh. I just tried gedliving. Have to say I like it much better than gedclean. However, if you want to exercise some control with people you know are living but for whom you have no date of birth, especially if their spouse is dead, you might want to use gedclean. With gedliving, the date of marriage will be shown if the living spouse does not have a birth date entered. With gedclean, you can tell the program to delete that information for that couple.
