    3. Betty, I just went through my Word 2000 processor and I can't find any place where it suggests it will print to pdf. It comes up in rtf format in Family Origins (Microsoft Word 97). I started to print it out and saw under the print selection the option to print to PDF. > > Neither of the files I was printing to PDF were images, just text, but I was not aware that both WordPerfect AND Microsoft Word would print to a PDF file. > > Betty > > > ==== FAMILY-ORIGINS-USERS Mailing List ==== > GETTING THE MOST OUT OF FAMILY ORIGINS by Bruce Buzbee - FO DEMO > http://formalsoft.com NO WEB ACCESS? 3. In my Word 97 under File it says Print to PDF... but you have to have Adobe Writer installed to do it. Go to www.bluesquirrel.com and take a look at their PDF writer. It's only $18.95. http://www.bluesquirrel.com/so/specials.html#congress And while I'm at it: Does anybody have a problem with FO creating a report with an index in .rtf format and the index doesn't show up? 3. Frank, The wordprocessor has to create the index in PDF format. Just go to the end of the PDF document , just below where it says "Index", then to the "Insert" menu item and select "index", choose the format and type you want and hit the OK button and there it is.
